So we went to Sydney...

Hi there from MrsPotts, your tour leader

This blog is aimed at building & keeping some traction going from what we saw and began to think about when we went to Sydney for the IWB conference.

I thought it could also be a place to put some of our ideas and thoughts out there, link with other like-minded people & read what others have to say about digital life n' learning and other interesting stuff.
The fantastic keynote speaker ...
Chris Betcher ...Check out his blog at http://chrisbetcher.com/

I liked the pictures he took in Japan. It reminded me a little bit about our photo activity in Bondi. Will post those at some point.

  1. So, I went to Sydney but not to the IWB trade show. Well, I did sneak into 1 keynote. It was at this keynote that I was shocked to hear an inspiring and pragmatic address from, of all people, some big cheese from Promethean. His bottom line - You need an IWB to teach (check out The Principal Difference blog for some interesting views on this), and for learning you need collaborative hardware (individual keypad/pointing devices) plus software, software, software. I suppose some kind of idea of how to employ it all once it's bought would help too...

So, 'Sun Tan Association' what flashy gadgets would you like to see next year's budget spent on? I'd like to hear about benefits NOT features!
